Gents, flogging out the stock dampners in my Compass 6HV head on my Vibe50E. Can one of you 6HV guys confirm for me what KBDD set to get, and what colour, or other options!

Cheers,

Callum.

Well done Phil
Nice to see someone else posting videos of there general flights etc ...
I think it will be AWESOME if you could make the trip south for nationals, encourage Fernando too come along - you will both slot into the 3DNZ format easy!
Its months away, so plenty of time to plan - something to think about it.

Callum
I tried the yellow and orange KBDD dampeners - But they are not quite long enough for the Compass 50/600 heads, only thing i had to do was cut 2 old delrin dampers to make a spacer so the new dampers could seat properly in the head without slop.

Soldier has them in his shop

You are supposed to use the spacers if using the KBDD dampers in the Compass head.

I believe yellow and orange are the old KBDD dampers. Yellow for medium and orange for very hard.
The new Extreme Edition KBDD dampers are Lime and Blue. Blue is medium and Lime is very hard. I believe these are just an improvement on the old dampers.

guessing medium blue dampeners for general flying, if your keen on experimenting with stick banging and high headspeeds - lime is where its at brada!

I wish
It's going to help out with living costs at this point. Car needs work, the Atom 500 needs some maintenance and renewal of maps, charts and fees for uni will be piling up soon. Will also be putting some of it aside to make sure I can get to the next funfly (Wellington?)
The 500 has always been my favourite and is much easier to get out at the park spontaneously so that's not going anywhere.
