Is your Shuttle a 30 or 50?
The Shuttle is a .30 Class heli
no point spending time and money on a heli that you can't get parts for
I dunno, because all the Shuttle needs is a receiver, servos & a gyro. It's got everything else.

Im with Footy. Wasting time as it will never fly correctly or reliably and cant get parts for it. If I had a better one I would give it to you so as I can never here about a shuttle again.

Ye I suppose you're right, but I would like to see it fly before I see it go. But it looks like That won't be a possibility, because I am looking at selling it. I've also got an old yellow Bird Of Time sailplane sitting in a box as well that I want to get rid of.

Ignore Doesn't quite cut it....
I'm sorry, I personally think its pretty sad that we have lost some very knowledgeable and helpful people to the likes of Nicad..... he is a cock and most people here have forgotten more than he knows. Geez I haven't even been on this forum for a while and I already think your a dick Nicad... Forgive me if I upset anyone else here with these comments....Nicad You don't have a clue man, and until you start taking advise from people like Kevin and other people that have been in this hobby for a long time and actually know what there talking about then your on my ignore list too....

Johnny..whats this about??
and can still remember how to fly a heli
I reckon you could still out-fly 95% if not more of NZ pilots, don't be so modest..

Flying my 700n yesterday and looked like a lump of cow poo dropped off the skid, nup, receiver battery, Doah! Forgot the Damn velcro, and the little hole under the canopy is the perfect size:-)

You know the rest, blades, boom, clutch, and some bent rods, got off lucky I suppose.
Note to self, add check velcro to the OCD list.

If you use standard receiver plugs you can get clips like these
http://www.hobbyhangar.co.nz/servo-...cks-p-1412.html
Then if you're battery comes loose hopefully it won't disconnect.

It's all back together now, just waiting for new swash and my favorite SB blades, also thanks Mr Foote ordered some of those clips. I'm using those little red plugs, jst? At the mo so will change over to the servo type. Also after 3 crashes the canopy looks like I've been chewing on it so time for a new one:-)

I agree with Sheridanm962. You guys don't even know me, apart from what I've been posting here. It doesn't matter what I write here, whether it's good or bad, somebody here ALWAYS writes a bad post in reply to me.

& as far as what LPearce wrote, you just contradicted your own comment mate. "Ignore just doesn't cut it...
...You're on my ignore list too." Clearly, somebody's not thinkin' right.

MMMM sheridanm962 you are a bit premature in jumping on lpearce and defending Nicad (who has already had this handle pinked from RR once before) lpearce has hit the nail on the head albeit fairly bluntly. While lpearce's lack of empathy to the challenged amongst us can be put into question, his comments represent what many think. There has been a trend on this forum lately - Nicad receives alot of negative feedback because he just doesnt get it. People have been very patient with him and the sorts of things he ignorantly posts. Initially people tried to help Nicad understand different things but it falls on deaf ears. Putting someone on ignore is pretty extreme and he is on many many people's ignore list for a reason. lpearce has also summed it up correctly in hinting Nicad is not in a position to offer advice to anyone on any technical related matters. He just doesnt know enough or have enough experience to offer remotely sound advice.

Nicad, pull your head in - stop the 'woe is me' routine and start questioning yourself why people on here react so strongly to you. Ask yourself the question "Does anyone else on here get the same reaction I get?" If you answer no, then do something about it.

If you have a Helifreak login, then maybe you will find more people over there that will be more suppotive of you.

Premature? Is that what you call someone that you like to complain about? And you failed in your typo grammar there? "suppotive" should've been "supportive" -You have rendered your own post and your argument invalid, good day to you sir.

That thought has already crossed my mind a number of times KRCNZ. I've often found that some people here misinterpret what I say too, so it's not ALL on me, even though I'm the cause of most of it. I'm reading some older posts (When Footey was organising DUHSD & earlier) here & people's responses are up & down like a roller coaster. I admit I have REALLY annoyed people in the past, but I think the past IS THE PAST. & I want to apologise for my misbehavior & put it all behind us, but how can I when everyone has me on their "Ignore" list?

Crikey! Three years has gone by & nothing has changed. I've now realised that yes I am the cause of this mess, & I want to clean it up.

If anyone can still read my posts. Here is my apology:

ATTENTION NEW ZEALAND HELI DISCUSSION
I have been going through the older posts on this thread and I must say, I am also disgusted at what I have posted in the past three years.
I admit that I have annoyed you. At the time I did not realise this, but now I have taken the time to go over my old posts both from THIS account and HBKII_Flier which has been banned as a result of my misbehavior.

I want to say that I apologise for what I have said and/or done and I will ensure that it will NEVER occur again.
I will now also take the time to listen to what you say, even read through your posts three or more times if need be and to not react straight away, because as I have now discovered, it may just very well be the last thing I say.

Yours Sincerely
Nicho-Chahn Cudby-Robinson (NiCad)
