Just wanted to share prototypes of the new 90E 7HV from Compass.
(My next heli)
The stock canopy is the drawing!

The canopy on display is just for a coporate outing Only - but the rest is the original design for the 7HV

Much more of a weapon than the MCPX I just picked up, as fun though - debatable.

I dont know - flipping the 7HV around the living room would be a bit of fun - you'd probably get a longer flight out of the MCPX though

Price of your logo has dropped again!!
Id love a logo, Why does no one in nz import them?
If I had the $$ I would be right in there.

Why fly RC helis? Because Rugby, Soccer and Golf only require 1 ball...

Nice heli, looks more like the RAVE than the odin/knight though.

Been buzzing the MCPX around quite a bit and one thing I notice is how ultra stable it is, practically hands off hovering and other than tail blow outs from pitch pumping this thing reacts like the sim.

So the question I have is this a characteristically of flybarless systems? I know my Atom is well sorted but it's still not as stable as the MCPX

Yep a well set up flybarless helicopter is just like the sim (more or less cheating) I love the rave with FBL it flies like it is on rails

I might do some mix and match this week and turn the 3Dplus back to flybarred - Its very rare I do big stuff wif the 55 in which I think fbl has the advantage (dont quote me on this)- so i'll be keen to notice the difference since i have a complete FB head unit in tact ...... maybe turn the Atom500 fbl - heard some good reports from the nz crew wif this, just a thought.

MCP-X

Been buzzing the MCPX around quite a bit and one thing I notice is how ultra stable it is, practically hands off hovering
I thought the MCP-X was a handful when I first got it. In fact I didn't think it was 'stable' at all. I was blaming my lack of practice (talent?).

Um (slightly red-faced) it turns out that one servo was unplugged (by about 1mm) and therefore was intermittently working. This makes CCPM control rather difficult

Now that all 3 servos are plugged in - it's great!!

Damn - now I no longer have an excuse for my crap flying ability

Cheers,

Steve Engle

So who's running an FBL atom then? Would be interesting to hear the difference over the FB version.

FBL Atom

Hi Guys

I'm waiting for my BeastX. I'll be getting it at the end of the month. I had to wait for stock and a reasonable price :-)

I'll certainly put a post once it's airborne.

Cheers
