On Sunday arvo after everyone left we had the field to ourselves & the guys did their best to burn off the fuel we had left. Mark was in the zone flying awesome & pulled off the save of the weekend! Just the belt broke making it easier to pull the boom off to pack back in its travel case!

There should be enough room in the upper hutt hall to fly it

Hi Guys. Another top NZ RC Heli event!, I guess we all cant thank Kevin enough, I will have my hand up again to help out at the next one.
On a different note, as some of are aware I got the luck of the draw and recieved one of the nitro kits at the Heli weekend (im not usually that lucky).
The nitro Knight 3D kit, unfortunately I have moved away from nitro 12 months ago and have gone all Electric, so have sold all the nitro stuff etc. I have considered building the kit but have finally decided to stick with Electric heli's. I have discussed this with Kevin and he's ok with me moving this on.
If anyone is looking for a 50 size nitro kit or is looking to go from electric to nitro, give me a PM.
Cheers
Stu

You do realize that my KingII is about the same size an Align 450SEV2 right? I've flown Paddles (Screw it I'm still calling my KingII Richard "Paddles" Hadlee because I CBF saying KingII all the time) in that hall before, It's a wonder I haven't had any mid-air collisions with Bigbadindoorplanesmasher

I haven't failed, I've just found 10,000 was to not succeed

Well that's interesting, but my KingII is just KingII not eSky Honeybee King 2 because I've "hot-rodded" it so much that it's no longer an eSky Honeybee anymore.
Having said that, my machine is about 50mm short of being a 450 size heli.

Im Sorry but it IS still a eSky Honey bee!

Why fly RC helis? Because Rugby, Soccer and Golf only require 1 ball...

Sorry in advance, but i just couldn't contain myself any longer.

You can hot rod a honda city, but it still doesn't change the fact that its a freaking honda city.

I have just now decided to name my King 2.

It shall now be referred to as "skids" by all.

Not just because it has "skids",no,no, but also because it "skids" satisfactorily along my back fence simultaneously disintegrating itself.

On a serious note...
I would like to thank Richard for hanging around at the field tonight so i could have another flight.

I was wondering how long it would take

Thanks to Cheye for trimming the forward right drift out of my heli.
And getting me to put in expo.
And for leveling my swash before xmas.
And for just being generally helpful.

I'm pretty sure know one really cares what you talk about. You should re-name it POS, that way its describing exactly what it is, a piece of sh*t. Do your self a favour and take the advice many a person has given you and buy a decent bloody heli. Your flying would get better, faster if you had a reliable heli, instead of mucking around "hot rodding" the POS you could be out flying.

Yea but then where is the fun in that? Plus I find it quite funny you guys taking the pi$$ outta my KingII. & plus it now flies just as good as any decent heli now, since I put on that aftermarket rotorhead.
