Park flying
Must be ignorant plank pilots that got cheap Chinese TradeMe planes for xmas.

There are massive power pilons by this park so somethings going to go horribly wrong - oh and Ardmore is NZs busiest airport!

The Papakura/Clevedon club is only 10 minutes away to the East of Ardmore but I doubt that these knobs even know about the existance of the club. Unfortunately these are the sort of ignoramuses (word?) that will wind up giving us all a bad name and further restrictions.

I feel better now

Cheers,

Steve

Yeah Steve - lets shoot all park flyers regardless of where their models are made. And you are right - power lines are dangerous - so lets close down Highbrook as soon as possible.

You are right that does feel better

Kim,

The major difference is that Highbrook is actually a NZMAA approved site. The fliers can't go above 399 feet, must have a Wings badge or a Wings badged spotter and the members can't claim 'ignorance' of the rules.

Now as for those cancer causing power pilons

Hehe - yes feels great actually

Why fly RC helis? Because Rugby, Soccer and Golf only require 1 ball...

Only a few heli pics and the rest are photos of planks trying to destroy themselves

Bill - looking forward to seeing you guys again. I make no promises for the after hour activities! I won't lead you astray but I could lead you to one

Cheers,

Steve

isn't there anyone in your house with a TM account that can sell on your behalf
I do know a guy who lives in Alicetown that can do that. I'll talk to him & see what he says.

I think we have ten of the Aussie boys signed up so far and a few more still to confirm.

Its shaping up to be a seriously good event, I still have a heap of work to do but Red Bull girls and Ice Cream truck are booked in, I will be sorting out the prize pool and goodie bags in the next couple of weeks.

The Farmer is going to keep the cows away for a few days and Alton is on standby to mow the flight lines.

If you guys have a shade ten then bring it, we can't have too much shade in Feb we all know what it was like last year so I don't expect anything less this time round.

I can see the budget blowing out over $10K so I hope you guys feel sorry for me and crash a few helis so I can get some of my money back LOL

I have 16 or so guys booked in for the training day on the Friday might be able to squeeze two more in so be quick if you want to secure a spot.

I'm going to enjoy a year off from this in 2012

I have to drive my wife to a horse show and then keep myself entertained for the day.

DUHSD, is anyone that is going Friday night partial to the idea of splitting hotel/motel costs for Friday night only?

Don't think i'll be flying Sunday, taking my son to his first trail ride so that will take up my day.

My new Canopy for the ENV turned up today, i wanted something a bit different.
