Hi Guys,

For those of you not on the Neil's mailing list (http://www.rchelisnz.info/)
we are holding a Fun-Fly on Saturday, January 10th 2009 at the NSMAC:
http://nsmac.death2spam.net/
which is on the North Shore, Auckland.

Directions are here:
http://nsmac.death2spam.net/greens%20rd.JPG

The FF is subject to Hay-Making. The Farmer should be done by then but if not it will be postponed. As long as there has not been too much rain then you can drive right in. If the access road is washed out for some reason then we can park on the road and walk in.

We may have to share the field with the plane guys, which is not an issue as there are separate flight zones anyway. If the plane guys are not there then we can use their flight zone as well. Our mowed area has now been limited at the farmers request but there is plenty of space to take off from etc.

We plan on kicking off at about 10AM so please try and make it if you can! Should be heaps of fun. I plan on organising a BBQ with a Gold coin fee for Sausies, drinks etc.

Hey Jag,

Sounds sweet I should be back in the country as long as they don't cancel any more of my flights . Want me to bring some food for the BBQ? I could pop into a mad B on the way.

Sure mate, people can bring what they like to chuck on the BBQ! I'll just have the basics there for people that don't want to bring anything.

Thanks for the offer too. Be nice to meet you.

Are we bringing tents and a bottle or two off the top shelf?

I feel like talking crap til the small hours of the morning then throwing up in a poddock.

We used to do that years ago go to the UK nationals camp on site & drink whiskey from coffee mugs. One year there was 3 of us in one tent me, dave & mark tilbury that evening we decided it would be a good idea to set of max pack cardboard cup from the main runway using model rocket motors. we woke up the next day to the stench of sick all up the inside of the sip inside the tent we dont remember who was trying to get out in a hurry but they did nt make it, anyway mark went out during the night tripped over the portable BBq & squashed it then collided with ali newmans car breaking of its aerial, this woke up Ali & mark was so wasted he started a fight. That dat we had to compete it was hard with a thumping headache a caller yelling next to you & the sound of a hovering heli.

Aaarrrgghhh those were the days.

Yip there fees are gettin out of control. When I sold my RMZ 450 it was only $19 to list with a $25 success fee for an auction or $40 for a classified listing, but when I sold my spare racing rims for $1400 the stung me a $66 success fee, auctions over $1000 need to have a fixed success fee like $25. They've lost me as a trade me user.

Yip and your money goes to Ozland....

For a country thats big on exports, we seem to do it all wrong. We are supposed to export goods for money, but it seems we now just export money.

So good day for a rebuild, raining again.

You guessed it Helinut, one too many auto's. Not to bad.

Happy New Year Everybody!!

Get busy if you wan to start the new year with a new heli, only 2 days left to obtain an upgrade opportunity!

well..... It fell over on touch down. next to no head speed so just bent the flybar, popped one top link, and the tail brace holding the horizontal fin rotated around the boom.

Still all straight, just going to pull the tail shaft and check that out.

Flew it straight after and seemed ok, so no stress... Hirobo's are tough.

Started doing funnels yesterday, lol, one day soon I might even intend to.
