I have the upgraded tail hub...
I was thinking about going to 92mm tail blades as many people have done.
Although, because of this there has been a run on the radix 92mm...
everyone's out of stock.
Someone said try the align batman blades, as they're smaller.

Gravity Works...no, the other left. ok,ok

I think the upgraded tail blade grips are the problem.

so what's the answer, go back to the stock tail hub and grips?
This sounds so illogical...

Its been a few months since this gyro came out. How does is it holding for you guys? I assume nobody has had a servo failure yet due to use and wear and tear? I see that it is rated at 0.05, does that affect its life expectancy like our 9251/9254/9256?

I have well over 200 flights on my 6100T/6100G combo. No problems at all. In fact I am now running two of them. Performance as good (and arguably better) than the 611.

I'm running the 2100 with the 6100 servo.

Still rock solid. No problems at all and I've had a few crashes where the gyro has taken a flybar strike and the servo has taken a blade strike. (Moved them both underneath the boom now) They take a lickin and keep on tickin. No problems to report.

More than happy with them...

Looks it does last. Btw, is it possible to use any other servo with the 6100t or is it like the 601/611 combo where it is only that and only that servo?

The 6100T sounds perfect, I am looking a new gyro to replace my old 401. I should give the 6100T a try man.

it will be a step up from the 401 that's for sure. it's being compared to the holy grail of tail gyros, the GY611.. independent L/R limits, constant piro rate, multiple gain values, etc etc... Expect to spend more time with the setup, but ultimately (after all the tweaking and tuning is finished) you should be very happy with it.

Thanks for sharing chopperman.

Sorry for asking this, but the tail seems a bit "nervous" in flight, may I know if it is the pilot or is it the characteristic of the gyro? I have gotten one to replae a 502/9254, haven't had the chance to try it yet, if it is the charcteristic in flight, I might to to let go out a nib 6100t.
