Here's the pis on the tail boom. Notice the crack on the metal on the lower right boom mount. It might need to be replaced. You think its safe to fly like this? It seems secure. The metal cracked when I was just tightening the screw.

Yea, I can't wait for the all metal upgrades tooo. I think this kit would be KILLER SICK with all the metal bling like the Trex 450se. I hate plastic.

Does yours Eeeeky have metal mixing arms? I can tell u now that it needs metal ones bad.

I'd put some epoxy on the crack.

I don't know why your clamp is not screwed all the way down. is it because of the bullet thing you were talking about?

Yea, the bullet messed it up. If I tighten it more, the crack will get worse. I'll just leave it. It should be fine.

OK, i just watched vid #1...vid#2 is Dl'ing now...And heres my comment...it has the same parts material as a trex 450S...but flies like a 90 ask me how i know with identical setups in my old Trex SE v1.5 vs Mars 480, with 350mm blades...it made the rex fly/feel like a Blade CP...Hold out of the trex comparisons untill you fly it hahaha! Nothing against trex's, theyre great helis..but theyve been overthrown!

ummmm. Not that strong. My mixing arm hole ripped open on the side when inserting the screw to put on the balls. I had to CA the whole piece and re-drill a new whole. Needs metal on the head bad. But for $199 for my kit, I can't complain that bad. Very good price, and still very happy.

Brovik777`s boom clamp problem is caused by the bolts used.
Mine were the same the thread is not cut(or in this case rolled)down the shank for enough.so it bottoms out early.if you are not aware of this you keep torqing down to tighten to the frame.I could not get 2.6MM in the UK.So i am waiting for spares.I have a early kit and have had loads of problems with mine part wise.

Cool man. Though, I want the metal parts right away. I'm gonna be running this head at like 3100rpms+-. If Jason flies it, maybe I'll bump it up to 3500rmp's with the sick Scorpion motor to put on the craziest Mars 480 show you've ever seen. Though, right now, with the plastic, I don't want to press my luck going that fast yet.

Isn't the purpose of the jaw to protect the battery in case of crash?

I totally disagree, those are about the coolest looking helis out there today. I'm not a fan of the canopy, but the head and frame are sexy as hell.

If they changed the canopy to a more aerodynamic canopy I think their sales will increase.
