Hey Everyone,

It's been brought to my attention(and rightly so) that some may not know exactly what/who Blue Santa is. I should have posted more information up about that. Sorry about that, I apologize for not realizing that. Guess I just got so excited I spaced out! So, here is some info on Blue Santa and also they do request certain types of toys(ie: not toy guns ) Now if you have already bought a toy/s I wouldn't worry about it, I really don't think anyone will gripe about it. I think they will be very appreciative. This fun fly/fund raiser looks like it's going to be a blast! There's going to be some happy kids this Christmas!!

Operation Blue Santa accepts new unwrapped toys, books and stuffed animals. We do not accept or give out toy weapons of any kind. We provide each child with 2 toys, a book, stuffed animal and stocking stuffers. We recommend donations be made by Dec. 13th to ensure enough time to sort and package the toys. Based on current trends, toys are needed for the 1-2 year olds & 10-14 year old, boys and girls. Toys needed: balls/athletic equipment, building blocks, art supplies, board games, walk-man radios, watches & beauty products. Also, we ask that if a toy needs batteries, please include them with your item.

We do the Blue Santa thing at work. They generally need toys for toddlers and teenagers the most. Toddlers are easy teenagers seem hard. But things like sports equipment and such work well to fill that void

So far it's looking pretty good. Mostly sunny, highs now predicted to be in the low 60's(told ya), winds from 5-10. I'm hoping the wind speeds drop a little more, that will make things even nicer! Keep them fingers crossed...
