Oh Great Technology GURUs...

Do many of ya'll use a phone service using "voip" technology on your high speed? (I.E. Vonage, Packet8, Lingo, etc)
Do they work well?
Are they subject to the "Fees and Surcharges" that local phone services throw at you? (these "fees" are getting ridiculous)

I guess my main question is: If I sign up to one of them for around $15-$20/ month ... is that ALL I will be paying?

Thanks !!!

I've been using packet 8 for months. My bill is around $22 a month and that includes very lengthy phone calls to England at 3c a minute. No taxes fees or other crap and if your internet connection is over 1 meg, you wont be able to tell its not a normal phone.
