I own a Raptor 50 that came with a Jr 8103 radio, servos, and a PROPO 4N11OO battery. I wanted to upgrade my battery and purchased a Sanyo 6v, 1700a with Universal along with a regulator. When I got home I noticed that the JR battery has 3 leads, while the Sanyo only has 2 leads. Is this battery compatible with my JR setup? Anything special or just connect it? What about one less wire on the Sanyo battery?

Thanks!

Make note of the Black and Red wire position. The JR orange lead is blank.

The orange wire in the JR battery pack is along for the ride. It goes nowhere. Red is positive, in the center of the plug. JR uses Brown for ground/negative, others use black for ground negative.

Thanks guys! I was wondering because the JR setup uses 3 wires on all components.

The Orange wire is the signal wire.
