Hi,

Got an SE I get the odd glitch and motor shutting down. I had the motor shut down down for a sec or not even that the other day while flying backwards then the just doing a stall turn the tail stopped turning for a sec then finished off turning.

I've read pages and pages on here about glitches on the SE.

What do you think are the best ways to try and get a glitch free heli ? I'm talking about grounding booms etc that sort of thing but without spending money on it ie buying plastic beearing holders.

If you get glitches or have had glitches what did you try first ? did it work or did you have to something else to it as well ?

I please don't reply, saying you bought a PCM rx and all the glitches went away

Simon.

Check my gallery for my layout.

Its a glitch free heli and I never used rings, grounds or other "magics".

I've also setuped another T-rex with exactly the same setup as mine but with JR micro PCM receiver and it was also glitch free.

What motor and ESC are you using.

I use CC35 and CC45 and have disble the LVC, that can cause problems with certain motor / pinion gear setups

Some people like it some dont, but the DX6 is the only way for me. My problems were motor shutdowns like 1 second and the occasional piro for no reason. With the DX6 I have not had one hick-up and it has totally allowed me to progress with my flying. So it's up to the individual, but thats what worked for me. Confidence in your heli is important

Been running normal curves from the start, Ive changed my battery discharge to low.

Now running 1,2,1,2.

I have my rx(R146) at the back between the frames, HS56 on cyclic, 9650 on tail with 401 up at the front. Other than that all standard.

One thing I have noticed is my tail servo twitches too the beeps from the esc when I connect the pack up ???

That could be explainable.
It's the motor that makes the beeps, I trust your rotor twitches slightly too so actually the whole heli is and your gyro responds to it...nice and simple..

I am running standard SE kit with align esc and motor 401 gyro with hds877 servo and hs56'elsewhere and no glitches or cut outs so far, seems like lots of problems are to go with routing of wires and placement of components
