Anybody flying the JR Vibe, do you notice much of a trim change from the start to near the end of the flight, as the fuel tank is so far in front of the main mast.
ie,trim change from full tank to near empty ???

Ryan.

I fly a Vigor CS which has a similar tank location, and not much of a trim change if any.

Dokey,

There is a very small trim change.. but really not that significant.. if I try hovering FAI manouvres with a full tank the trim is spot on.. with a near empty tank I may need a couple beeps of forward trim to keep it level.. generally flying around and doing aerobatics the change isn't enough to be significant.

The plus side is the ease of access to the glow plug when you flood the engine or need to change it! Makes for a much more practical model on the field when everything is going wrong around you

Cheers

Thanks for input Mark, thats put the ball into the Vibe's court again and out of the Stratus.
And then there is the Synergy, but can I wait that long ?

Dokey,

There's nothing worse than on a soggy muddy wretched English flying site getting a hydrallic lock and having to pull the canopy off to get at the plug hole.. then spining the engine over and getting fuel thrown towards the radio compartment..

Much rather have to have 2 beeps of trim

Cheers

Mark

True Dr Lodge, but I am not quite sure that model would suit me
