is it possible to make a conversion in a TT-39 Pro engine to gas fuel??? If it´s possible, how can I do it??? if this can´t be done, can I use a gas engine in a Raptor 30...??? I know this may look like crazy; but in my country sometimes it´s hard to buy glow fuel.

where can I find those conversions.

I´m tinking that maybe a modification like this may work (the carburetor, and electric sistem)
http://www.bmeengine.com/html/point90.htm
maybe this engine can fit in the Raptor 30 frame, it´s size it´s like a 60, I´ve read about people using 60 size engines in a raptor 50 (different gear ratio, but, it can be modifyed)

There's a guy on here, I think his name is raptorgasser who is running a TT70 engine in his Raptor 60 that he converted to run on gas. I don't know what he did, but there are a few threads in the gasser section. If he could convert a TT70, I'd think you'd be able to convert a smaller engine. However, it'd be pretty weak on power. Be a neat project though.

seems like there it`s a conversion to Diesel

http://www.davisdieseldevelopment.com/home.htm

here it`s the recipe for the fuel:

40% Ether
30% Kerosene or lamp oil
30% Castor oil

the question is; do I have to make a conversion in the engine...???

seems like the diesel engine can be more powerfull than glow

The conversion to you engine is simply to remove the cylinde head and replace the with the Davis conversion.

However you will also need to get to the cylinder head to adjust the compression ratio for different engine loads, this is a bit difficult with the present raptor configuration, but it is however just about possible.

Once adjusted to the right compression it shouldn't need much tweeking in the future, but I have found that on my diesels if you can't get to the compression lever to adjust it, then sometimes you just can't start the motor-

what about this engine for a Raptor 30...???
sorry por my ignorance, is that a .50 or .60 engine??? 90 maybe???
it´s a MVVS 1.60 IFS-W 26cc gasser, I know it´s a different measure, but, with what size this engine can be compared in size???

This engine is slightly larger than a current 90 size helicopter engine. The engine is a 1.60 cu approx 26cc.

It would be quite an engineering task to fit this in a raptor other than perhaps the raptor 90. Then you would have to think about changing the gearing to allow for the rpm that the engine produces.

To find the specs on this engine and many others the dimensions are on [url=http://www.justengines.unseen.org/]
Here you will find the most info on diesel conversions and also on MVVS petrol engines.
I still think you would be better getting a glow engine, and spend more time trying to get a supplier for the fuel, buy it in bulk, so it will last you a while. Or have you tried to get hold of just the basic ingredients to mix your own..

Best of luck
