I had the Raptor, now I have the Knight. I used to like the Raptor alot more, but am now warming up to the Knight.
It flies great, has very affordable parts, is all metal stock, good and strong.
For the price the Knight is great! Also the Raptor. I am thinking, though, that I might get a Raptor again, just to satisfy my bang-around needs. The Knight is a little lazier than the Raptor. It just doesn't have the oomph! that the Raptor has.
Of course, being all metal, it is a little bit heavier than the Raptor. Although, it is more responsive and precise.
I am wishing the Knight had a hardened stainless flybar. It's kinda flimsy, but probably very easy to get my own damn steel rod and thread it.

Going broke and OK with it.

Hard to beat a Raptor 50 for all around flying fun, cheap parts, smooth flight characteristics, cheap and plentiful upgrades, and ease of maintenance.

I think that parts availability might be the soul answer to your question. Do some web searching, I think you will find Raptor parts 20 to 1 over the Knight parts.

RAPTOR 50 would be my route.

I will agrre with the availability of parts for the Raptor, but as for Flying hands down...the parts are available for the Knight 50 and the quality is top notch ...the price is as cheap if not some cases cheaper as for basic crash parts like boom , spindle , main shaft...the canopy is FG and cheaper than the stock rappy plus windshield, can't beat it for the way it flies and the price....it weights about the same as the Rappy Se and it truly flies like a 60 sized heli. U will never fly a smoother 50...or atleast I have not and have owned 3 Rappies 2x 50 and 1 90, a Freya and a Sceadu, I sword by the Sceadu after javeing a Rappy for some time....u won't be dissappointed and for snap try hyper 50, v paddles, and an Mp1..heheh
