Welcome to the club. What kind of headspeed are you getting? Tom

Is it possible that with the constant power of a brushless front motor

the tail-motor (stock brush) will respond better ?

Maybe. What is probably more important is a good lipo that will supply enough amps without the system seeing voltage fluctuations. Are you using the stock tx? Tom

What tail are you running? I *had* to upgrade to DD mod as soon as I went brushless. The stock couldn't keep up.

The head speed is nice, isn't it? I went down to 8T thinking that it would be less twitchy, but it turns out I got used to the 9T power and now it just seems sluggish on climbouts and hesitant on spot landings. Very annoying.

I'm planning a total rebuild around a belt drive tail very soon, and I think I'm going back to 9T, maybe even 10T. I was getting a tached 2800RPM or higher at no load with 9T, I wouldn't be suprised if you were way up there on the 10T.

Are you running carbons yet? With the stock woodies, when I punched the collective, the rotors would really cone up for a second or two, before launching the heli up. With carbons the response is so much quicker.

Hi akerkhof, yes I have carbon blades, but for now I only put the carbon blade to the tail.

I put a -10% in the mixing.

I have the same trouble you seem to have with your throttle before I set my Throtte EPA (ch3) to 105% down position and 37% top position
and change my fix-throttle to AutoCalibrate-throttle...

Now everything is fine...

I don`t have separate gyro and I try:

Gyro switch up 100% and gyro switch down 75%: dont see any difference,

so I think to use the Tx-switch I have to go with a separate gyro.

For the D/R switch I try to put 80% down and 120% up on ch.4
result: no difference

And finally I try on the D/R switch to put -20% down and +20% up to
ch.4 on the exponantial
result: no difference either

I was thinking those 2 will help me eliminate the need to trim the rudder when the battery goes down...

Now if someone can help me setting up those 2 switch on a 6EXH..

Thanks
