Isn't 1 degree of freedom a bit boring after 6 DOF with an R/C helicopter?

Dude I have 2 boys 3 & 5yrs old I am not a free man. The boys love it and KICKIN THIER A$$ on the track is a great way to bond with them. It has something to do with the alpha male thing, I think?

Just an up date on the Scalextric Sport Digital Track I've been building. I Have 4 lanes up and running and I'm waiting on some cables to hook the power base to a computer for race management. I have 12 lane change tracks now so you can go from lane 1 to lane 4 at afew places on the track. It is a total pisser we use the track everyday and my boys and I love it.

I used to have one of these.

http://www.speedwayproductions.com/stock.htm

THis is not my website, rather someone elso that has one. Its called a "Micro Reality Stock Car Track" I sold mine. But I'm telling you, until you have raced on one of these, you don't really know what fun is. These are big, slotless, and the saying "rubbin is racin" is waht this track is all about. Anyways, made tons of money with it, and then sold it. But it was a blast While I had it.

American by Birth, Alaskan by the grace of God!!

Dang Sealerman! Knowing how good you did those little birds and all i know you will have a pretty exquisite track setup! When i was in vermont, there was a hobby shop in St. Johnsbury where i raced a couple cars there on a 1/24 scale track, I was up there for a 2 week crash course for Fairbanks Scales, loved it up there! ken

Smile! people will wonder what you're up to!!

I've started to make some buildings for my Slotcar track, here are a few pictures.

There made from foam board, I love that stuff it's easy to use just cut, glue, spackle, sand and paint and you're done.

Lookin good. Have you tried any of the Fly slot cars? My brother bought a couple of them at a hobby shop in Houston. They almost look too good to race with and beat up.

I have always wanted to try the Moto GP cycles that SCX put out a couple of years back.

I got back in slots as well about 5 years ago. Contemplating going digital as well, but for now, the Ninco standard system is just as fun for me and my boys as well. My two boys end up bringing over the whole neighborhood to play. It is pretty cool.

Cars are relatively cheap and fun to collect.

I'm into racing also, and I like slot cars but wanted something with more freedom and control.

I op'ed for 64th scale RC cars, these are fully propo and having working lights and brake lights.

I have a couple of pictures of the track layout.

With the RC cars we can race up to six people at once. All cars are programable and allow you to choose any of the six available freqs.

these cars are called ZIPZAP SE. Make sure you get the SE models, as these are prop and have 6 selectable freq and working lights!!!

-= I know there is Money in RC helicopters. I put it there=-
