I hope that some one can help, it is off topic but relates to chargers that I use for my T-Rex.
I need to charge 10 x Sanyo AA batteries for my Meade Telescope and I am having one hell of a time using my Schulze ISL6-330DE and Swallow Digital chargers to get the job done.
I have tried to charge the cells in series in those cheap plastic battery boxes that you can buy from electronics places but they're not charging as they should. For a start, the schulze on Auto D/C charges at only 0.3 amps. Also, should it not automatically detect the number of cells, seems that it is always off, like 6 or 7 it sometimes reads. Would these charges have trouble detecing necessary voltages because of the way the box is wired? What is the best way to charge these individual AA's? Someone said that I need to get tin and solder them in series, but what a pain!!!
As for the swallow charger, it worked ok but did not stop after putting back 2500, they began to get darn hot!!!
I realise that this is confusing and off topic but I would really appreciate info from you experienced AA chargers out there
