WHICH head?the 2 bolt vario head and the stock blades CAN be a handfull, as previously mentioned. Heres a BIG part of teh reason WHY:
The blades are propreitory, you've never noticed but they are the ONLY source for the blades to fit that head.
They would be BETTER suited IF they were heavier, the weight was further out on the span, and had a narrow chord (see the blade examples from OF (starwood models, a vendor on scale forum page).
You CAN (although I've not done it, Mr Len Mount HAS) open the blades and add weight to them, balance is obviously critical, as is where and how much weight is added. That helps considerably.
Also, contact Joel at helitronics, he makes a mixer that also allows gyro's to be added to the system to help stabilize the machine. Elevator is primarily the hard one, some do the roll axis as well.
I have a new Century 4 blade head that I will be testing in a couple weeks.....single hole in the grips, so my blade choices are ALMOST endless.
