My Rex is full of upgrades including a Duzi tail control on a MH tail case -Heliup CF frame with all HS56 servos including the tail. Many people and threads have been needed to get this setup as smooth as my Rex with all metal align head on a stock frame with the Pro tail. I use TP2100-3S lipos . The Kontronk ESC was not feeding the Medusa motor well below 80% - at 90% the headspeed is around 3000 and ALL is well indeed! Everything is finally Smooth as silk and very reasonable to control - hover is STABLE now that the Medusa and Jazz are operating "efficiently" - previously there was a fluctuation in altitude ( I had a 13t pinion and now 11t , if I had a 9t I would run that ) . I do have the HS1153 tail drive gear (blue reducing). I have tried numerous blades and all now track well and are smooth. The DX6 is superb with no glitching in over 4 hours of flying with it now . The 3 point curves were not great at lower rpms but as I went up and up on the Jazz, the stability and vibration all improved markedly! I have a 401 gyro which is rock solid with no wag (HS56 tail servo) at a setting of -40 sub trim on the GER channel and this gives HH . +40 gives excellent results in Norm. I only use Norm to verify that the tail is setup with no turning at 0 on the rudder trim. It is really great to have this motor and ESC with the DX6 and have no RF issues. I use an Optic 6 on the other Rex with a CC35 ESC and it flies great using pitch and power curves at 2100 rpms headspeed. I hope this info is encouraging to either Jazz owners or DX6 users and if anyone is using both like me -THANKS TO ALL WHO contributed to my eventual success today and I am glad to offer more details to any who are using items I have mentioned above.
