Hey all, I know old post but you never know when someone will lookup. I work on E-3 AWACS. I can only speak for these types as far as external lighting. Standard nav lighting, red blue(green) white. All 2x redundant. Anti collision consist of (ground).. one lower fuselage one upper vertical stab, rotating beacon (white in color). Anti collision air and ground, rotating beacon wich run anytime engines started & red or white strobes located on upper and lower fueselage (one or other as once on runway.. daytime: red strobes illuminated as easier seen during day. night: white strobes illuminated.) 2 ea forward fuselage wing scan illumination lights. One ea emergency light for each exit on the fuselage plus 3 for each over wing exits. 1 maintenance light for each wheel well. If you want to get extreamly detailed, One white light per air refuling receptical door (2) plus a aft receptical light (3 total). E-3 is 707 320-C airframe type. If anyone has any technical questions please contact at my email dmsdmullins@yahoo.com
