I've been flying around my X-cell gasser with SE frt frame for a couple of days now, getting ready to strap on the HCS mount. I want to "tone" down the controls a little. I used some expo- 30%. I don't really want to use dual rates. The paddles that I have on is the stock xcell 3D black paddles. Ain't gonna be doing any 3D with this heli. Can someone recommend some flybar paddles that are heavier and maybe some flybar weights.

MA sells a set of weighted paddles that will do exactly what you want.

thanks N74DV..
I will check out Ricks r/c. I remember using those type of paddles on my freya. I just checked out the x-cell you have for sale. Noticed that you ran dual power switches. I am thinking of doing the same thing with dual power switches and dual batteries. I had a switch fail before in flight and the results weren't pretty.

Does anyone know the thread pitch of the MA flybar? I need to re-thread the Hirobo paddles so it will screw into the MA flybar.

Thanks DJ..

Just to let you know if your interested, the thread pitch on the MA flybar is 8-32 N.C. I rethreaded the metric threads on the metal insert for the Freya paddle. Not really that much difference in the thread pitch between the metric and standard threads on the flybars. I also installed some JR vigor CS flybar weights. Flew it around for half a tank and liked the change in responsiveness. At the moment I have the flybar weights all the way out next to the paddles.
