Hi all
Ive been practicing for a few weeks now trying to nail the piro wall of death.
Well ive got it pretty much nailed so today I gave it a go. Anyhow after a couple of shakey circuits I got it locked in and found my rythem.
Anyway Im very pleased that I tried but now ive got to rebuild my heli.
After two good piro circuits I lost orientation the sky was very dark, Although I knew which way round it was or even should have been its a realy hard choice when your eyes are saying one thing and your brain is saying the other. Now I know why its called the Wall of DEATH.
Ah well Ill rebuild and try again next week
And still looking for a blade sponsor URGENTLY

Bad luck Adam

How do you keep the heli in motion around the wall, are you stirring the stick as you would during chaos or concentrating on just cyclic control ??

Ryan.

Dokey

I dont stir the stick I fly each orientation.

To start off with I learnt to funnel all four inverted orientation forward, backward, nose up and nose down and then started to change orientations during a funnel ie.say going from a tail down funnel to a forward funnel or hurricaine. Then from this learnt to go from tail down to forward to nose down and then completed one full piro per circuit and went from there. I am currently funneling anti clockwise and using right rudder.

Hi Adam

Sorry to see your Evo digging some dirt. But, keep up the good work with the wall of deaths, and do the maneuver pretty high when you're learning it. It's a difficult one and it goes down fast if your timing on the cyclic is a bit off... (Don't ask me how I know )

You're more than welcome to send me a PM or post it here if you need any help with the wall of death. But it looks like you got it covered and just need some more practice/hours.

Good talking to you at the 3DM this year. Are you going to enter as a competitor in 2006?

Adam,
We all watched and were just saying "he's got it" as you ended your second solid circuit and then ditched. It's cool your dad supports you to push on so much, I know this won't rock either you. The 2 you did were very cool to watch....more sim then another display I hope.

He who dies with the most toys is the winner!

Was it Malorie that posted a small vid on a Piro wall of death a while back ? if I remember right the vid was very short, any one got a longer vid with the TX in a separate window, showing what the inputs are ?
