How tight should I tighten the nylocs holding on the tail rotor blades?

Someone suggested that with the main blades, they should be tightened enough to stop them falling under their own weight if the heli is turned on it's side. Is this correct?

That's a good guide or slightly tighter. Tail blades the same, just tight enough so they hold themselves.

When I turn my heli up on it's side, I give it a quick shove downward, then stop it quickly. If one blade drops farther than the other I tighten it just a little until they "droop" the same amount.

The main thing you don't want to do is lock them down. I turn my machines on their side and give them three or four good bounces. I'm not talking about shaking the @#$% out of it, just give it several crisp up and down movements. If the main blades move, tweak them a little tighter.

As for the tail blades, like Drunk Monk said, just tight enough to hold themselves.
