I'm just finishing up the build of my 1st E-Heli... a T-Rex 450XL-CDE. Here's my question. What do you guys do with the On/Off swith for the ESC. Do you mount it in the heli? Or, do remove it and hard wire the ESC to come on as soon as the battery is plugged in?

Like you said you can wrap the on/off switch wire into a loop and zip ite it to the frame or you can have on as soon as the battery is connected, that is how most people have it setup. But if I had an on/off switch I would probably use it.

if you do use the switch DO NOT leave the battery plugged in permanently , it doesnt totaly swith the BEC off ............if you leave the battery connected with the switch off over night you will end up with a knackered battery in the morning .........
SLOW POWER DRAIN

If you need to get high , go and fly !

Just don't use the switch and plug your battery in when you are going to fly and unplug it when you are finished
