For the record, "Evolution in Practice" would've only applied had we been reading about a tragic toy helicopter accident in the newspaper.

Grabbing a heli like that is OK, as long as you use a Foo sheild. You would of course, have to modify the shelid to work in this fashion.

I was about 17 when I grabed the skids of my heli, didnt have a mentor or anyone guiding me other some ocational field help. Especially when your young these things cost a lot of money so sometimes you act not thinking. at 16 or 17 1000 plus bucks is not easy to come by. Thats a lot of burger fliping.

yust for the record:

I know a heli in flight it´s dangerous, I´d like to know how bad can be an accident with an heli and a people, is there a known case of this, you can tellus about?. I know maybe this it´s a stupid question, but maybe this way some of us will be more careful in flight.

Errr DEATH!!!!, it has happened and will continue to happen with idiots like this about, sit at the side of the field in your motor with the engine held at 1750 and ask them to put their hand in and grab something rotating, they will kindly tell you to sod off lol, then explain how a heli is MUCH more dangerous

if you search through safety - rc heli's are not toys you will find various horror stories. Ron Kyle was killed during a flight in a park, he was teaching someone to fly, and as far as i remember the helicopter locked out and shot towards them? The trainee got out the way but the trainer didn't.

One smack to the head or neck with them spinning blades, i think you probably not gonna wake up again.

People have also taken pictures from being hit in the legs and various places. BIG scars. Remember the tips of them blades move at about 180 mph

meh

The thing that I find most fasinating is that it takes two hands to garb the skids of an inverted heli (theoretically) because if you grab just one it would rotate about it and the blades would hit the ground it would then vibrate very badly and shake the rest of the B*** S*** out of this story.

Just smile
