I just got my first electric. Trex, jazz controler, mega motor, 146 futaba receiver, 3103 servos.
I can not get to fly it. Everytime I spool it , it gets light on the skids , a little more and then.............It Violently gives full aileron to the right and crashes. well ..it crashed the first time and it made me realize why people do not want to buy metal blade holders and mixing arms .
After that first crash I have anticipated the malfuntion and shut the rpm off.
I just fastened to a table and saw it take place time after time ..it spools up and rpm gets up there and then it goes all right aileron...

Any suggestions ?
Thanks,
roberto.

Could be either an electrical glitch or possibly a bad servo/connection to receiver which happens as the vibes increase.

I would re-route you're antenna keeping it as far away from the ESC as possible.

Also change the aileron servo with the say the collective servo, verify all the connections and see if the problem moves with the servo.

First thing to try is to dis-connect the motor and check everything moves in the right direction. ie. all servos are moving in correct direction.

Is it a CDE or HDE?

Well, this morning I set out to find my problem with the rex. Found that when I raised the collective arm to a certain position , the aileron would go full right . Repositioned servos in receiver (elevator-aileron) same thing happened always at that same position.
Took aileron servo out and found the problem. I did not paid attention to page 11 on the upper left hand corner !!!!
The servo wires were open on one side and when the collective arm went upwards the servo would short out and give the servo the signal to go full right aileron.
Made sure wires were still all there and taped and then taped to servo case away from motor.
By the way I own a trex with standart mix.
Glad it always happen before take off....
