just purchased a new apache 2020 lipo charger, my first foray into electrics, got a used heli with 2 11.1v 1800mah lipo`s. i first charged them with the supplied wal wart charger, then charged them as instructed with the apache unit , ran heli for a test flight, about 5 min. then ran the other pack for same period of time. next time i hook up batt to charge. red led flashes saying there is trouble in houston. volt check batts
fluctuates between 6.something volts and 3, as before it read 12.2 volts. now both batts are used, can it be just coincidence that they both are now junk from previous owner? these were noname brand 11.1 volt 1800 mah lipo`s you get with the walkera junk machines. will i have same problem with newly purchased batts? also running walkera 180 brushless motor and walkera 35a esc
any help would be most appreciated. the batts also had them individual connector on them to balance charge? am i right. is there a website where i can read on how to prioperly charge and use these batts
the machine i`m running is the edx-400 shogun clone with cnc belt drive and cnc tail gear box and some other mods, and futaba 3108 servos on all control surfaces, and the junky walkera gyro
sorry for the drawn out post

Have read on another post, the batteries going out
with these combos (i have a Trex combo coming with em)
are crap.
Whether they are or not I'll soon know for sure.
Either they'll take and keep a charge or not.
If bad I'm gonna open one up and see who makes em.
If you like electrics then check out truerc site.
watrboardr uses a 4000mah from there, and he said
he hasn't been doing anything special as far as
balancing or anything, and he's had real good luck with em.

I had typed 400 mah, meant 4000mah 11.1 lipo.
Anyhow, Dan from truerc emailed me with some good info.
The Astro Blinky does a good job for balancing and is priced
right.
As far as charger, Nir on RR, says that you don't have to
get the most expensive charger because the circuit to
charge is fairly simple. So I'm figuring you're paying for
lots of features that you really don't need.
It's like the cameras that come with all the digital effects.
I really
