*SHHHHH* might not wanna buy from here though...I heard from some people that this isnt a good site to buy from.

Well, the upgrade options are endless and getting better.

Here's mine....
)

GWS Direct Drive tail
Horizon Hobby CNC swash plate
Helidirect Landing gear
Seperates using JR6102 TX
Eflite 2 in 1 esc/mixer & TP1320 Lipo
Deans Micro Ant.
Cirrus Gyro
CF blades
Esky Bell Hiller head

Fly's great w/20 min flight time's (use'd to be 30 min before adding the weight of the DD tail and Esky Landing gear). Motors and esc are barely warm after flying out an entire pack (20 min straight

9C will fly the Blade. You just need to tune your TX to the Blade's RX frequency and program.

Deans Micro Ant. - $10
Cirrus Gyro - $30
CF blades - $37
Esky Bell Hiller head - $19

Can we get a couple of Pics without the Canopy on? I am going to go seperates with the same TX some time this month or next and would like to see how you did it.

I'll get some closeup (detail without the canopy) pics tonight and post them. For now, heres one prior to the new lg getting painted and the stupid twisty tie getting replaced by a zip tie (ran out of zip ties and had to test fly before I could sleep)

http://www.rcgroups.com/gallery/sho...&cat=500&page=1

the seperates setup is straight forward. I got the eflite 2 in 1 which has two esc's and a mixer in it. A cheapo GWS 6ch RX and a left over cirrus gyro was all that was left.

I fried my 4 in 1 after about 30 flights or so and that was back in August when everything was on Back order. I couldn't wait and no longer trusted the 4 in 1. Plus, I really like my JR6102, especially the throttle cut funtion which has saved my lots of money on parts replacement. I still use the original servos, but I'm planning on replacing them soon with s75's.

Sure I could have gotten more expensive units but I'm spending way too much money on my scale shogun to get the best stuff for this BCP too. I just wanted it to work better than it was stock. It is now....( :

esky parts list (I got them from Helihobby and saved $8 compared to balsapr.com)

EK1-0228 Center hub set (Quantity x 1) : 1 : 5.25
EK1-0229 Rotor head set (Quantity x 1) : 1 : 5.25
EK1-0231 Paddle control frame (outer) (Quantity x 1) : 1 : 3.74
EK1-0213 Bearing (Quantity x 1) : 1 : 2.80
EK1-0234 Pitch control link (Quantity x 1) : 1 : 1.87

That is all you need, you don't really need the center hub but the esky unit is square while the bcp unit is round. I wasn't sure and my bcp unit was mussed some due to multiple pin breaks and replacements over time.

I also got a new bcp main shaft and gear set to make sure everything was straight and new. I didn't have to adjust anything, just mounted the new stuff onto the original bcp swash. didn't even have to adjust trim on the TX. I simply put it together, fired it up and found it flew much smoother with quicker and more predictable cyclic. I also found that the pitch control was more precise.

$24 including shipping

Anyone have an idea where you can get these parts for the bell-hiller upgrade that futuramille has done? Noone seems to have these parts now (around Christmas)- all that have them that I have found are overseas and have rediculous delivery times :0)

Thanks

Yeah, its getting hard to find HB head parts. All you Blade guys converting knock it off! We have HB guys crashing, you know... Balsapr.com has everything that futuremille said you need except the hub, which he sort of said you don't need anyway.

Helihobby has them in stock too, and they have an email notification system when they get things back in stock that I have used in the past. Buyer beware, they (HH) can be jerks to work with if there is something wrong with your order.

As a note -

The E-flite Bell Mixer Upgrade Kit and full spare parts will be available in the next week or two:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Search/...p&OverallCatID=

The upgrade kit includes all necessary components (pre-asembled) and installs in minutes with no modifications. Best of all, the EFL bell mixer system is less complicated and more robust than the E-Sky system while delivering the same improved cyclic response.

Not wanting to be without spare parts, I just ordered some, including the HB rotor head set from http://www.helidirect.com and they have been shipped. They are a bit more expensive than helihobby.com but better than the overseas sellers.

Thanks.

I corrected my "sticky collective" by swapping the washers early on. but.......Collective got allot smoother and predictable with the BH upgrade. The design of the bell hiller would certainly help because of the leverage that is added by the extra arms. If you have problems stemming from your blade grips...I'm not sure how this would help you though.

Many who say they had problems and got the BH head, no longer have collective problems. Remember that to get the new BH parts on, you have to disassemble the head, that means taking the blade grips apart. This in itself provides the oppertunity to reconstruct it all more accurately which my be why it is working better for some.

See i swapped the washers too as well as all the other recomendations on the horizon site but mine stills sticks if i bump the headspeed up. I thinks its the flybar catching on the hub still.
