Good Question!
I have flown my Freyas for 4 years. There are some consumbably items:
Head dampers.
Fuel tank mounting rubber.
Ball links.
Balls.

Items that you should keep spare besides the usual:
Mast Block
Flybar Carrier

Other than the above. I've flown the piss out of them without any problems.

They are very reliable machines. Rigid, accurate frames and bullet proof drive system. They are simple to build and just as easy to repair. I've torn mine down after a serious crash and had it together to make a fun fly the next day.

Extras Parts

Here's a couple things I'd recommend.

Extra clunk line for the fuel tank
Extra ball links and balls
Extra dampaners.
I use JB Weld on the plastic portion of my landing gear. As the plastic wears down, I clean it with alcohol and put JB Weld on all 4 places on the landing gear. I've already applied JB Weld twice on Evo # 1.

I just had my one way bearing fail today. It cracked through the outer case. I would recommend having a spare one in the spares box.

The Freya just goes on and on, though a spare oneway bearing is never wrong

I keep a spare one way also, mine went out at flight 25 and the new one
has the grease mod and a EX metal hub.

Quickster,

How many flights on the heli before the one way failed ??
I think I may just start replacing after X # of flights or once a season.

Here's a link to the grease mod, I also lubed my new brg with some tri-flo oil.

The first brg that broke was pre assembled and I did not lube it, new
brgs have a small amount of what appeared to be thin whitish grease in them.

My Freya had about 25-30 flights before it cracked. I did not know about Augusto's mod. I was thinking about getting the eagle 3 one way unit but i dont know the part number or where to buy it.
