before i go out and spend all that money, i have to ask one more time

between the align 3550 and the aon 3500 which is going to be the most reliable, most efficient, and of course give me explosive power

i am using the phenoix 35 and want to know which, if any, is better suited to the esc

any info is greatly appriciated

I NEED LOTS AND LOTS OF POWER!!!

thanks a bunch

Efficiency: the Align 430L wins
Power: They are both very good but the Aon seams very heavy for it’s power
Reliability: Not sure – I have had no problems with a the 430L but some have had failures
Cost: the Align 430L is the winner
They are both very good motors.

If you really want top quality with lots of power get a Neu 1107/2y.

I have both the align and AON motor. With 3D flying, Ive flown with the Aon motor for over 100 flights and the align motor for about 30. I could still notice that the Aon has more power over the align. Infact with the Aon 3500Kv motor and 315 blades pulls more power compared to when I used aligns 3550Kv with 325 pro woodies. Both are good motors. With the Apex batteries (2200mh 12c) that im using both motors remained just warm. Aon for me.

i would be using the aon with a 11-13 tooth pinion and the 325 pro woodies

and a pheonix 35

do you think that set up there has explosive power

that is what i am going for

I have been running the AON 3500 for almost a year now. The 11 tooth pinion is the best I have used on this motor, plenty of power. If you really want to get the most from the AON try it with a 20c battery like the flightpower. It goes like stink with that combo

dump the woodies and get yourself some SAB carbons. Then you can run a higher head speed without the blades exiting the vehicle.
11 tooth gives a max of around 2700rpm. If your going to run a higher pinion I would not use woodies:
