I put a carb kit into my carb, 167a, cause it was flooding the engine, now the primer bulb doesn't pump worth a crap. Mostly air comes out of the return back to the tank, all the gaskets matched up ok.

The primer bulb is most likely the culprit if I am reading you rpost correctly. The primer bulb will get old with age and not seal correctly or if it is a new installation it may not be properly sealed.

You might want to check out ebay for some walbro carbs. They sell for cheap. I just bought a brand new walbro 603 carb for $16.

Ok, thanks guys, when I pump the bulb it sounds like its sucking air, I was working before, but I guess that doesn't mean it should work now. Maybe I will go rob my weedwacker for parts, he he he to funny!!!
