Ok need to know how those running the long carbon tail boom have their servo mounted? Is everyone running the servo mount tailboom? If not than whats the secret to running the servo in stock location?
Now if everyone is running the servo mount for tail boom, than what rod are you using for the longer tailboom?

Thanks

Here is a link to the combo deal. You can get the parts number for the rod though.

If you mount your servo on the boom, why would you need a longer pushrod? So what if the servo sits farther away from the frame. The distance from the servo to the tail shaft can remain the same regardless of how long the boom is, right? For the same reason, adjusting belt tension with a boom-mounted servo is easier because you don't have to readjust the tail linkage if you move the boom in or out to adjust belt tension.

The above-mentioned link is for longer parts needed to still use the frame-mounted servo. It looks like it still uses the flexy wire pushrod. If you have a boom-mounted servo with a CF pushrod, you only need a longer boom and belt.

I already have that kit and it does not work well. That is why I am asking about the tail boom mount. Now I think a CF push rod would be great where do I find one for the x400 with the longer tail boom?

I used Align parts for the TRex. Servo mounts, CF pushrod, extra ball links to eliminate z-bends. Rest of tail hardware (slider, bellcrank, etc.) are all still stock MX400. Enlarge the hole in the MX400 pushrod support so the CF rod fits in it. I cut a slot in that support so the CF rod can snap in. Works fine.
