This is driving me nuts! I can piro flip no problem, but I can't piro circle for nothing! Does anyone have any good pointers at all? I've tried just pushing fore/aft when depending on the position of the tail and nose but that only works for a little bit.. I'm either always gaining altitute or losing it. It's really ticking me off!

Help!

Looks like you have a fast piro-rate, and just try to do the piro-loop.

If you just try to do a manouvre, but can't make it. You should try to split the manouvre up in different pices.

Try a regulare circle without piroing, first backwards, then sideways. then try to go from backwards to forward just one time pr circle. Don't start with constant piro, but swing the tail around at first one time pr cirlcle. Do the same circle first left flying then swing the tail around and do the cirlcle right flying. Try to swift the tail only 90 degree at a time. Then you have to learn to fly all the different direction.

After a while you can do the tail-swift many times pr circle, and finaly you will have the piro-circle going.

The same can be aplied to a piro-loop. Just break the manouvre in to different pices.

I found that if you practice pirouettes, you kinda naturally develop the ability to do odd things while pirouetting:

If you practice pirouetting Ts that helps, too.

You're gaining/losing altitude because you're not maintaining a consistent rotor tilt. If you maintain a consistent tilt, then you won't bob up and down.
