I've looked at the MX400 and the Century Pro, but it looks like all around the Shogun is the best choice. How do these fly out of the box? I'm not ready for 3D yet, in fact I haven't done much more than fly around my HB. How is the parts support for the heli? Any general comments on how it flies compared to a .30 sized glow machine?

I just got my v2 and haven't flown it yet however I've had two v1 Shoguns and after flying all the other electrics out there I always come back to the Shogun.

I have both versions, and both fly great. I think the Shogun V2 is overall the best flying heli out there for general flying not 3D. You will need to convert to brushless and lipos, it does not fly to good with the stock motor.

If its not scale I ain't flying it, unless its a TREX
