Just ordered the kit from Audacity today.

They also have an improved washout base specifically designed for the Positive Delta Mod "flipped grips" which will be a precision fit, on the way.

A newer swash design is in the works.

One piece beafed up triple bearing tail grips in the works.

Hey why should Audacity let the aftermarket get the upgrade business. This is one smart company.

The Challenger looks great! Isn't it still in concept form though?

yeah, still a concept, but if Dodge is gonna compete with the Mustang they're gonna have to come out with something that at least resembles a muscle car... and in my opinion, the current Charger doesn't look a damn thing like the original, but some people bought into it...

until Detroit can come up with some original moving designs, going back to the body styles that everyone can identify with is the way to go right now.

Will the newer or soon to come kits of the tigers be coming with the flipped grips, washout, swash and tail section. Or will those remain to be upgrades.

Hey John could you tell us the part numbers of these upgrades so we can order them from your website?

I need the look alike fury fiberglass canopy(this is not in the homepage), the new grips, washout base, 6 mm spindle, etc everything that is needed for the delta modification.

Got mine after seeing this post by Audacity on another site....

The new 3D Grip sets have arrived in the warehouse. These comlpetely replace the existing spindle, grips, bearings, spacers, etc.

This is what you'll want:

2 ea - 3D Grips (supplied w/balls and screws)
1 ea - 3D spindle (supplied with spacers, washers, cap bolts, etc.), 6 mm OD
4 ea - Radial bearings, 6 mm ID
2 ea - Thrust washers, 6 mm ID
2 ea - 3D688 (6 mm ID, 88-durometer) Dampers

Before installling these you will need to pass a 1/4" drill bit through the aluminum center hub - it's real easy because it's already almost that size.

The complete kit is $49.99, but through the end of December 2005 it's $29.99 (with a limit of one kit per registered helicopter). Special price ONLY available direct from us - one time offer.

It's not on the website yet, until then you must call.

I am tempted to call right now...

John when will we dealers have these upgrades? Is there a special reason you are doing the direct sell thing? How soon for a new swash?

I'll admit I'm not a great pilot, but I can hover with the best of them.

Yes John, keep the upgrades coming.

After setting up with the new grip/spindle kit I get a full 15 degrees pos/neg.

Anybody considering the grip/spindle upgrade save yourself $20 and order it before the end of the year. It's a great deal and the parts are very high quality.

I can see in the future when (not if) I crash, replacing parts with Audacity parts will be cheaper than if we go aftermarket and have to replace those.
