Does anybody run 3 cell Li-po's with their piccoboards - Standard (720635) and Pro board (720735)?

What motor is fitted to the Piccolo pro, is it the 410? and is the Piccolo Pro a collective pitch machine with a separate tail motor or does it have a shaft driven tail with pitch change?

Not familier with the Piccolo, just looking at running one of the Picco boards on my V3 Hummingbird fitted with 3s1p li-po's.

Many thanks,
SP

Source of Information

SP,

To your question - yes I do, but the "electrics" has been done by a guy who understands it....I do not! I will ask him what he did.

Regardless, a good source to get information about the Piccoboard's is: http://www.pgoelz.com/piccolo1.html

Cheers - Surri

I've run my Piccoboard plus (720572) on 3S with no problems (other than burning out the standard small tail motor which doesn not like 3S!) The plus is basically a pro with a receiver too. I have the heading hold module too.

The Pro is a collective machine (no Bell-Hiller mixing I think). It uses a seperate motor for the tail. I think the 410 is the standard motor but I'm not sure.

I'm sure the Piccoboard will work in a Hummer V3 on 3S.
