Is there a certain way or thing you do to insert your roll pins in the gears for the open tail box?
Is it ok just to use the old roll pins (the ones I removed)?

I was going to use the old ones and just push them in. Should I use green locktite or some CA or just open the ends of the roll pins once installed.?

Thanks guys

Anyone have any suggestions. Or is this a dumb question?

If you deformed them when taking them out then, yes I would say install new ones. If not just make sure they are started into the hole straight and take your time putting them in place. It helps if you have a roll pin punch the correct size. Also have it very well supported with a solid surface under it.

As far as opening up the ends or glue, you don't need to do that if you have a roll pin that's not too distorted. If it feels like it's loose going in then I wouldn't trust it, I would just install a new one.
