I'm building a HV rex.
I bought the heliworks CF frame and the hs56 servo's it designed for.
Jr 9303 radio.
How are you cetering the servo's without using alot of subtrim ?
Is'nt there alot of interaction associated with the use of subtrim , especially with a CCPm setup ? I have the servo's in the right channels and subtrimmed to level (using pitch curve for 50% readout- linear curve). Ended up with pitch at -60 and aileron at -60. Subtrims ended up being 20 on one 20 on another and 24 on the third. Resolution is set to 4 per step i believe (jr default).
Is there another way to get the horns to be centered without the use of subtrim ? Or wil i need to get a round arm and drill my hole where i want it and then trim to shape ?
There has also been alot of goo digital servo's out on the market these days. Has there been many people using the digitals for the swash ? Are they programmable (like hitec digital unit) for speed and center postion ? Or is servo gear replacement an issue ?
Thanks for the input ,
What goes up will come down.... one way or another !
