What kind of radio are you using? I think you have to change your swash settings.

Helicopters shouldn't fly, they are just so ugly they repel the ground.

i use an eclipse7. it has a swah setting on it and channel 1, 2, and 6 are all at +70%.

it's a 120 degree swash and that's setup correctly, it's just all sort of mixed in somehow.

it did it with the normal stock swashplate also. that's why i can't figure out why it would do something like this.

i can feel the thud when it hits the ground. hehe

Was your swash level to start with? Did your collective move through the entire range without getting out of alignment? Check your linkage lengths and make sure that your servo arms are at 90 deg at center stick. I have found that the manual linkage measurements are only an estimate and far from perfect. I have a JR 9303 and use channels 2, 3 & 6.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it!

Is there another 120 ccpm setting... it seems that your 120ccpm setting is off. I have to look at your manual.

i also use a JR XP8103 for my Raptor30. should i use that radio instead of the Eclipse7?

i've heard the hitec radios aren't very helicoptor friendly.

You said all your swash settings are +70. On the Hitec, you can reverse swash directions by going form + to -. Try changing your swash settings one at a time to -70 and see if you can get the right combination of settings. Right now, don't worry if the swash moves opposite (ie. left when you move the stick right). Just get it so that up/down and left/right move. Then go into channel reversing and reverse the proper channel to get the swash to move in the right direction. I had to play with mine a while to get everything moving the right way. In fact, I ran through the whole Tx battery charge before I got things moving properly. That was one of the main incentives to get a larger capacity Tx battery.

Brent.
