The quality comparison depends upon if you are comparing apples to apples or lemons to oranges!

3D2me= One eye on the Tx, one on the Heli and my thumbs in between.

I was a diehard nitro until I flew the Trex. Admittedly, Trex was a handful to fly and see at a distance at first but it helped me refined my 3D skills. Raptor was a floating monster and Trex was a jumping grasshoper, but after I got used to Trex, flying Raptor became much more easier. I didn't miss spending more money (e.g. fuels and parts) on the Raptor than the Trex. It always costed me more than $10 in parts on the smallest crash on the Raptors, but the Trex I had numerous crashes, including inverted crashes, that costed me less than $5.
