I finally bought another helicopter. This time I wanted it to look something close to an actual helicopter. I ordered the 300 for a leaf blower for the yard. Nothing spectacular, not entering any scale masters, etc. I am just wondering what else I will need for the kit? I have an OS 32,servos and gyro. I am trying to avoid the ole' "waiting on parts to arrive before it flies" scenario. Century could only tell me what I could read myself on their site and that is not much. Does it come with blades, engine mount etc? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I built one a few years back. Did you get the kit all in one or the fuse separately?

I bought the Hawk kit and fuse separately. Nice bird. Always got compliments on it.

I believe it comes with wood blades. They fly fine but tracking is a !@@#$ when the wx changes. Get some carbon 550s. You'll need the cn2222 remote glow as well as some goop to install the windshield.

That's about it. It does come with an os32 mount I believe. At least mine did. Floats are cool looking on that fuselage too. Sorry I don't have photos of the bird, but I do have some hawk mechs in my gallery.

You will be very pleased with this heli!
Flew mine all season, and had a blast!

Floats were affixed last winter so I could test fly and trim it out with snow on the ground. That worked quite well, so I kept the floats on!

No need for a header tank. Stock tank+32= long enough flight time.

Two suggestions:

The Century# CN3033 "Torpedo Speed HV Muffler" works great and gives a good tone to the 32.

This glue works perfect for securing the clear windows to the canopy and doors. The glue first appears as white but dries clear, so you can really lay it on.

I have a video to post. I just have to figure how to get it from my antique VHS tape to my gallery

I would be glad to help if needed! Good luck!
