fwiw..

As many of you know, I've been banging the Align drum prety hard for a while now...I still love both my Rexes, but I am disturbed by some things I've recently seen...Two sets of Carbon 335 blades with different root thicknesses..While well balanced out of the box, I could not get one blade from each set to fit without surgery..

The 335 grey woodies in my SE kit were useless. Both blade roots were warped and much too thick to fit the grips...
I am continually having problems with the 430 motor and 35 amp esc...One motor burnt out, the other runs strong, but causes momentary shutdowns of the ESC in flight...I am banging the heli hard, but the 420 in my original rex takes this abuse day in and out without a hitch...Having the heatsink glued to the heatshrink covering the esc doesn't seem such a good idea, either...A more robust bec circuit would do wonders...

The only reason I mention these issues is that Align seems to listen to its customer base. The basic airframe is a masterpiece, and if Align needed to bump prices to assure quality control, I for one would follow along gladly!
The T rex even with with its flaws has started a revolution in r/c helis...electrics even for the hard core 3d pilot are a reality, and any parking lot is a flying field...Align, please keep it coming!

Pro blades the are roots too thick for the black grips. Black plastic parts seem to get more brittle every time you but them.

Align seems to lost some touch on their production.
