I just put the reg back in my Raptor 50 with a 2100 7.4v Lipo. Looks like I can get 5 or 6 flights with 5.6v running 9252 servos, GV-1 and 5.1v to the 401 w/ 9253. Weighs less than the 2700 NIMH battery I had in there.
I also have a normal reg. in my Fury. No problems with them at all.

I have been running the Fromeco Arizona Reg for some time now. It is great!

On a 30/50 size heli the 2400mA 7.4 Li Ion pack is the way to go, on a 90 size heli go for the 4800mA pack.

The dual voltage setup is very easy, the Li Ion cells very reliable and with their '8 Ball' voltage checker with built in load the 'no fly' voltage is well defined.

Running 5.8 volts really transformed my heli.

I'm running an Arizona regulator and a 4800 Fromeco pack in a Raptor 50. Works like a charm and I get 12 to 14 flights on a charge. I run 5.7 volts to the servos, 5 volts to the gyro. With the 4800 I am only very slightly nose heavy, which is OK with me. I love the excess capacity.

Been using Fromeco stuff for a long time in giant scale aerobatic planes, and loving it in the helis. I prefer the hard can lithium cells over the soft foil lipos.

Plus Kurt at Fromeco cannot be beat for customer service.

Let's see,

Currently on my X-Spec OS70 i'm running the following config:
Arizona regulator
4800 Fromeco
5.6 volts to the servos (3ea Futaba S9151 digital Servos & 1 Hitec on GV1)
5 volts to GY601 / S9251
Easy 12 / 13 flights

This is my first regulated setup and I must admit that it's beautiful to not have to worry about charging at the field. I normally charge once every 1 to 2 weeks depending on how often I fly. (hehehehe)

I also use the 8ball voltage checker before each flight that works like a charm.

hehehe . . .I'm laughting because I remember when I was charging just like everyone else at my field. " Notice I said "was" . . hehehe . . .

The benefits to me are that I get nearly 91% of my rated capacity at FULL system voltage since it is regulated down. With NiMH or Nicad I typically would only get 82% average of the rated capacity before the voltage dropped below the safe voltage. AND this happens with a constantly declining voltage rather than the steady regulated voltage I now have.

This is the second benefit. Constant voltage from start to finish. I never really worried about this on my aerobatic planes, but it is a really big deal in helis, especially for the tail!!

Not that I really need to add anything more than what has already been said, but, just thought you would like to know there are more people using the products.

I've been running their regulator for a while, but, recently got a couple of their peerless packs and HOLY COW is it awesome. I can go a couple of weekends without charging. 12-15 flights is no problem even with all digitals, governor, 601 gyro, etc... on the 4800 MAH pack.

I am wanting to get this same set up what kind of power switch are you guy using (?pin flag), and what you using to charge it. Will the Hobbico Accu-cycle elite be ok to use?

I just took an old plug off a bad switch. Twisted the red and black together and plug that into the "CHK" plug on the regulator. Put the plug in and the power goes off. Take off the lug and the power is on. Easy as pie.
