Any body try the new head dampeners and notice a change in stiffness after about 5 flights?

I had my LHS order me a set about a week after they were released. Mine have been on backorder because MA said that they have issues with the way some of them were cured. I called MA to find out what was taking so long and that was what they told me. I'm still waiting for mine. When did you get yours?

That is sad that they would treat you like that, especially when they know there is an issue with their product.

I just placed an order with MinAir middle of last week. The one piece dampers were included with the order.

I was told everything was in stock and ready to ship. No mention of the damper being withheld or on backorder.

hmmmmm

I guess I will have to keep on eye on them.

I havent checked with my LHS to see if they came in...maybe they have. But as of 3 weeks ago they hadn't come in. Maybe my LHS dropped the ball. Anyways, too cold to fly...can't believe I just said that...

dampeners.

Are these a lot stiffer than the past hard ones, and would they work fine for gassers? I know in the Rapp series there are some pretty hard ones that you can see a weirble in the head upon spoolup and the last second of an auto.

Does anyone know the part number for these new dampeners?

Why does the boom stirke occur if they are solid? surely there will be less flex to help stop boom stirkes

Get a set and try them. If you don't like them then go back to the O-Rings.

got 50 on mine, still rock hard. Obviously if you feel something isn't right, go home and check it out. Don't keep flying til it blows up.
