Is there any place that sells just the metal hub for the eco. Fxaeromodels sells every part for the head but the hub, i just need the hub and the seesaw arm to stiffen up the head and $140 seems a little much for a $200 heli.

What is wrong with the stock one? Are you into 3D'ing your machine? If not, why upgrade? Do the Bell / Hiller mod on from Dream-models.com and fly it. In case you haven't been reading the posts, I am a FIRM believer in the stock parts. It is only a 200 dollar machine as you say. How much time do you have invested in it? Is it worth buying a COMPLETE proven unit or piece-mealing parts together? I would wager a guess that by the time you buy the pieces you think you need, you aren't going to be happy with the performance once they are installed. Then you are going to buy the rest of the package, spending more money than if you just bought the package first. They are sold as a unit for a reason. Because they work TOGETHER. As I have stated before, I had the stock head and did lots with it. You haven't stated what setup you are running. Is it mostly stock? If so, all the aluminum head pieces in the world aren't going to make it fly any better. Make it stiff, make it responsive. Simple as that. More info is needed on your setup to give a more accurate reply.

I do fly 3d. i have the hiller mod along with light homemade carbon paddles, a 18t gear and ms 480's. The motor is a hacker B50 15L and running a 3s lipo on a UBEC, HS-81mg all arond.

The problem is is that the seesaw arm has a lot of slop it. I tried replacing it but it became sloppy again in a short period of time. The metal one would make it less sloppy, which was my only reason for getting it.

Makes sense now. I would still buy the whole head, but that's me. Check ebay. Maybe someone will be willing to sell the parts you need. Good luck. Bill

The aluminum hub will not work with the plastic blade grips.

I know this, because I've tried the aluminum blade grips on the plastic hub, and they do not fit.
