Have to stay within a budget on my T-Rex (which I ordered today) so I would like to stay under $250 for the radio. What about the following.

JR XP6102 with the S241 servos (Found it interesting that the TX comes with a Lithium Battery) $239

HiTec Optic 6 $202 with 4 HS-55’s

Futaba 6EXH $170 w/ 4 S3107’s

Would like to get a Futaba 7-CH but $298 with 4-3108’s but over the budget

Just order the Futaba 7 channel transmitter without servos, since you can't use them anyway. It will be a lot cheaper and you can get the transmitter you want and keep under your budget.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

The JR 6102 is a pretty nice radio, I played with one last weekend.

Only other choice is the Futaba 7C but I know nothing about it.

Stay away from the others imo.

hey
have you checked out this one....Airtronics RD8000

Heliproz has great support and free shipping!

it is definitly worth saving up for for like one more week.....

IMO this has the most features for the least amount of money (best bang for your buck)!!!!

if you ever get into nitros (it's bound to happen ) then this can easily handle it....

i have it and love it.....very pleased with it

Thanks

I saw that RD8000 from Heliproz but the servos are full size. Not a good deal if you have to replace all of them.

What about the Futaba S3103’s in a Trex? 17.0 oz-in @ 0.11 sec/60º

If you are going to stay with the small electrics or base yourself as a park flyer get that new spektrum system.

I hate my RD 6000 It is not very user friendly I Like the JR 6102 that my son has much better and it cost less The RD lists most features like model naming to 3 letters. its a good radio just not foe me

Optic6 is the winner here. Get the synthesized for less than $170. No crystal needed for the transmitter.

8 model memory. Tons of features.
