Just curious what everyone's take on the freya xspec are? I am looking very hard at one in the classifieds. How do these compare to say a fury, etc? I had a fury extreme, was very happy with it. Had an evo 50 and loved it. I know the fury will cost some more $$ to repair, but that is life. Just want to make sure its a good heli before I pull the trigger

Well,you liked the EVO,didn't you?
Xspec is bigger and better.I personaly like it over the fury I've sold.Virtually maintnance free.Got few gallons through mine and besides checking it over, never did a thing to it.

Well, I had an X-Spec, sold it and got a Fury Extreme...

flew it maybe 1 case, then sold it, and got a new X-Spec.
IMHO
Fury plus Side:
Easier to pull motor.
Best Clutch assembly available period.
Has that Fury lighter feel.
A little quicker in the Cyclics
Quite a bit quicker in collective.
X-Spec plus side:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Very Smooth and quite sounds as well made as it is.
Best tracking heli I've ever flown.
Parts Availablity
Easy to build confidence in, almost dares you to try new things.
Did I mention Customer service!!!
Jeff Is the best in the industry!

The X-Spec is an excellent Heli. The combination of agility and Stable flight characteristics make it super all-around Heli, not to mention the quality of Hirobo and excellent customer support. The X-Spec has a well deserved reputation, and IMO the freya series heli's are the best 90 size Heli's on the market.....you won't be disappointed.

Like valerko mentioned...if you liked the Evo 50...you'll love the X-Spec.
I own and fly both, and the X-Spec is my prefered Heli...simply because of the power of a 90....

I remember the fury and the X-Spec being compared before...they are different designs that fly differently. it will be a personal opinion as to which you like best.

And another plus is right now it is a buyers market on X-Spec's, as guys are selling them off to get the new Evo 90.

NO,it's a new kit that came out.Little redesigned head and couple of changes.
Xspes is regular freya with some bling and it's lighter.
Either one will fly beautifull.
On the Xspec, you can't run nothing bigger then 680's,unless you use shorter tb,which is not worth it.

690 mm mains and 95mm tails are the best combo for the X-Spec...

I have both a EVO and a XSpec, bot sure are nice helis.
If I only could keep one I´d keep the EVO (due to the new head).

But remember, thats my pesonal opinion.
