I have a funny blade tracking problem.
I have a Honey Bee Cp2 with symmetrical main blades.
When I try and adjust my main blades here is what I see.
At speeds less then half throttle my blades will track about 1/4 inch apart.
At half throttle my blades will be closer together about 1/8 inch apart.
At over 3/4 throttle blades will be tracking together .
At full throttle blades will be out of tracking again.
And when slowing down to half throttle again blades will be out of tracking again say 1/2 or so??? And then using ideal up they are way off at half throttle.
Speeding up again from half throttle ..blades will not track again .
If I stop the main blades ,,, it will track again at 3/4 throttle again .

And the high blade will change color?
The fly bar is alway tracking . And looks good at any speed.
When main blade is out of track ,,, it is out on both sides not just one side. I checked main blades for balance and the are good. And cg looks good. What to look for? blades don't seem to be warped at all.
Any idea's?

Try swapping blades.
Double check your paddles is level.
Give one of your blades a twist!

sounds like one of your blades is softer then the other one and is twisting under load . hold them by the root and twist the tips and see if they both feel the same for rigidity . dont forget to try joes ideas also but sounds like you may have to try another set of blades. just curious how did you balance your blades and check the cg? I balanced my blades using a Digital pocket scale with Accuracy of 0.1g it is made by DigiWeigh BS Series . at support@digiweighusa.com
The cg was done with the blades off the helicopter using the edge of a sharp metal ruler on edge method. Then make a mark on each blades edge where they balance at (cg) and then comparing them to each other. If within a 32 of a inch is close enough .

Blade tracking is hilarious!

Sorry, had to do it when I saw the title. What it the blade meterial? If all the links are exactly the same, and the ends are in good shape you have a bum blade.
