a torque rating of 34 oz sounds low for 3d stuff. What is the speed rating of this servo. Is it a standard size servo or mini size?

Most are running the Futaba 9650 or JR 3421.

I would not recommend that servo for 3d. Might be ok for hovering and some forward flight but that would be it. That would be better suited to a Logo 10.

The aluminum motor mount is not a nessacary upgrade, but they are a good upgrade. It will act as a heatsink for the motor.

Razor's are a good blade I don't know how well they will auto. I am running the Mikado 580's now and really liking them.
